A F T E R C A R E I N F O R M A T I O N

We are only responsible for the placement of your tattoo.

The aftercare of your tattoo is at least as important as our work to end up with a nicely healed tattoo.

First few hours

Some blood, wound fluid and ink excesses may come out of your fresh tattoo in the first few hours after the placement.

Leave the plastic on for 3 to 4 hours.

Afterwards rinse carefully and make sure to remove all the dirt of your fresh tattoo.

The tattoo will start to heal quicker and better with less dirt on top of it.

Take care every day for 2 weeks

Take care of your fresh tattoo 3 times a day for 2 weeks :

-Rinse with lukewarm water with clean hands

-Dry carefully with a clean towel

-Apply a small amount of cream, the tattoo just needs to be greasy.

Avoid too much friction, wear appropriate clothing!

Ask for our advice if necessary !

Aftercare Cream

In the first 2 weeks of your fresh tattoo, proper aftercare is advised, and so is the use of proper aftercare cream.

This is either:

-Tattoo aftercare cream, sold in our shop

-Bepanthol or Bepanthen, also sold in our shop or at the pharmacy!

Aftercare Cleanse

We sell aftercare cleanse in the shop.

This product helps to remove all the dirt, grease and unnecessary things of your fresh tattoo.

The tattoo will itch less and start healing quicker.

No sun or radiation

In the first 2 to 3 weeks, no sun, sunbathing or medical radiation is advised.

Your fresh tattoo will change drastically.

Linces will expand, ink will disappear and colors will fade.

We don’t do reworks if we notice you didn’t pay attention to this.

No Vaseline or Nivea

In the first 2 to 3 weeks, no vaseline, nivea or other beauty creams/products are advised to be used over your fresh tattoo.

These products are not made for tattoo aftercare.

They don’t contain any products to heal your tattoo properly.

 No bathing or swimming

In the first 2 to 3 weeks, bathing will make the fresh tattooed skin become weak, resulting in expanding lines, ink disappearing and higher chance of infection.

We don’t do rework if we notice you didn’t pay attention to this.

No sporting

In the first 2 to 3 weeks of the healing of your tattoo, sporting may cause unnecessary infection development, blowouts and scar formation due to rupture of the wound.

Please ask our advice on your specific tattoo and sport combination to be sure.

Showering

Showering is no problem.

Don’t use soap directly over the fresh tattoo.

After showering, make sure to rinse the tattoo and to add some new cream.
